What is a Tablet PC?
Tablet PCs are powerful, pen-enabled, notebook
computers offering even greater mobility and
versatility. You can write directly onto the display,
just as you would a piece of paper.
Can I teach the recognition engine to recognize
components the way I draw them?
No. The applications are designed to recognize a preset
collection of symbols. The advantage of this approach is
that the recognition is user-independent.
Can I extend the
recognition engine to recognize my own
symbols?
No. Not at this time.
Can I become a beta
tester?
Yes. We are still accepting a limited number of
applications to our beta programs. For a beta
application, please email
support@InkWalker.com.
Where can I buy or
download the circuit-drawing program?
We are planning to publicly launch the InkWalker product
line in Q1 of 2003. Prices will be announced at product
launch.
Where can I buy a Tablet PC with InkWalker
software?
Our premier partner,
ESC Technologies,
offers Tablet PCs and Pocket PCs. In the future, ESC
Technologies will offer Tablet PCs bundled with InkWalker Software
applications.
Is the Pocket PC version of the program the
same as the Tablet PC's?
No. PocketCircuit is tuned for the Pocket PC platform.
It provides slightly different recognition and a smaller
set of features.
Where can I read more
about Tablet PCs?
There are several news and discussion forums on the web,
but a few to check out are the official
Microsoft Tablet PC
site,
www.TabletPCTalk.com and
www.TabletPCBuzz.com.
